C. E. Quiz 3.1
Short answer:
1. Sean Foley and Andrew Nester
2. Trump wanted the public land for everyone to use
3. The raise in tuition will be used for inflation, staff salaries, and maintenance
4. Baker Mayfield from Lake Travis High, Lamar Jackson from Louisville, and Bryce Love from Stanford
5. I want to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi because there's been so much talk about it and I've enjoyed all the other movies.
Long Response:
1. Since Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his conversations with he Russian ambassador, many people are currently wondering what Trump's firing of Flynn has to do with that. The tweet makes him look like he was guilty of something and didn't want to be part of any investigations with Flynn.
2. I believe that he did. I know it's a very controversial subject, but I think it makes a lot of sense considering what Trump has said about Russia in the past. It's hard to believe that this is out of the blue and he was completely in the dark.
3. Of course Twitter isn't appropriate. Tweeting whenever he's slightly annoyed about something gives Trump the level of sophistication of a teenager. It does not make people respect him more at all.
4. I think that Twitter should be used for personal purposes, or at least not publicly stating confidential information. I don't think Twitter should be used by the president because although it helps him communicate with the public, I don't see it as an appropriate way to do so.
5. People should get their news through a newspaper (online or on paper) or through a news channel. Saying news through social media makes people not take it as seriously, in my opinion.
6. I feel that sometimes it can give you real news. Many professionals have accounts that help summarize news, but Social media shouldn't be the primary news platform.
