Brevity and Typ-O HD 5. the only place I've been to is Waterloo records Long response: 1. My family is very close to two families in Southern Houston who are suffering from Hurricane Harvey who have had to evacuate their homes. We've tried to offer as much support as we can, but at this point there is not that much else to do. 2. If there was a major storm about to impact my home, my family would evacuate our home and stay, temporarily, further North. Of course, that's easier said than done, and I know that it would be hard to leave our home behind knowing it might not be the same again, or could be destroyed. 3. I think the state and the federal government should be responsible for providing temporary homes for people to get back on their feet after the hurricane occurs. News Ethics

News Ethics 1) Using the 'Holocaust' Metaphor The PETA, or People for Ethical Treatments of Animals, released a campaign called "Holocaust on your Plate." The campaign's purpose was to compare the slaughter of animals for human's food to the 6 million Jews who were slaughtered in the Nazi concentration camps. However, the fact that a Jewish member in the company came up with the idea has not helped ease the backlash from the Jews. The PETA is currently protected by freedom of speech, and claim that their actions are completely justifie...

I would love to go to #1- the Pride Parade and show my support, I would also love to attend #3-Chicago at the city theater to see what interesting insights and/or twists they might have. Long response: 1) Charlottesville residents tried to cover the statue of Lee, Jackson to help with mourning. Although it was helping with numerous peoples' grief, later that Wednesday, there was a man found with a gun concealed trying to cut the tarp off with a knife. When asked to stop by the police, he started yelling in front of TV cameras, creating conflict between two opinions. 2) I personally think that the statues should have been allowed to be covered to help people deal with grief. Even if everyone didn't necessarily agree with the process for the time being, many Charlottesville residents have suffered from grief from the recent Charlottesville massacre. The residents dealing ...
