1. One idea that the writer gave me in the Wide Range of Topics Section was to write about balancing a competitive sport with high school. I feel like people could relate to balancing their own hobbies with school, and even though the topic is small, it could still allow people to relate.
2. The major thing I need to remember while writing our piece is to not generalize things and be specific. It's important to put things in a context where readers can relate in the big picture and the specific parts as well.
3. Three suggestions from Personal Essays and Craft section that stood out to me would be not to start every sentence with 'I', explore all the senses while writing, and take ideas from wherever possible.
