C.E. #1.3
Short response:
1. 100
2. Hicks says he struggled with alcoholism in his life, and that area had been supportive and helped him stay sober for 13 years.
3. 11pm-6am is the curfew
4. the school raised about $10,000
5. I'd be interested in watching 'A Star Trek: Discovery'
Long Response:
1. It was interesting because Trump's decision was mostly to prove to his party and citizens that he didn't have to go with only what people told him, and that he was capable of making his own decisions.
2. I think that since there has been so much friction over the past few weeks with him and his political party conflicting, he thought he needed to make a gesture to show how he made his own decisions. Personally, I think the amount of talking he does about his own opinions proves that he makes his own decisions, but there could be another side of the story that the public doesn't see between GOP Leaders and Trump.
3. Based off of political history, it could be speculated that GOP Leaders are alarmed by his decision. Since he goes against their wishes on this, then he could refuse to do much else without their approval, possibly only out of defiance and not entirely for what he believes the country could benefit from.
4. I think the United States could definitely benefit from a president making an effort to make some decisions on both the Republican side and the Democratic side, but I don't know if Trump's decision was for all the right reasons - I believe it was mostly to show GOP Leaders that he could to what he wanted. Even so, our country might still benefit from this decision.
